About Me

I have extensive experience bridging Western and alternative healing methods, concepts, and practice. For 30 years, I have worked in health care delivery as a nurse, health educator, research associate, trainer and consultant. I earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington in 1997 and engaged in further study to become a Certified Intrinsic Coach®. My goal has been to increase the capacity for health and healing among practitioners and patients and to promote profound system change.

Dreams are my doorway into healing and the realm of Spirit. I have practiced energy healing for over 25 years, including Therapeutic Touch, Reiki, and Healing Touch. Intensive training and initiation as a shamanic dreamer and healer have come from Grandmother White Bear (Valerie Wolf), shaman, healer, dreamer, teacher and writer in an eclectic Medicine Ways tradition, and Deena Metzger (see www.deenametzger.com). I have also worked with other indigenous healers.

I have written and spoken poetry and stories as long as I can remember. Listening to and telling our stories is an essential part of healing the world.
